Money Tears Your World Apart

‘Money’ stress doesn’t only break up marriages – It tears apart families!

It torments your life. Over & Over again and fills your life with anxiety, fear, sickness, lack and worry.

You never get to feel really safe and looked after.

And I just want to add here – How you do ‘Money’ today is NOT your fault.

‘Money’ stress is passed down from generation to generation, it is taught as a child and ‘You’ have attracted your ‘Money’ story today to match.

Sounds crazy I know, yet I am sure you have heard of the saying, “The Apple never falls Far from the Tree,” that is so true in many cases.

Yet, it only needs to be true until ‘You’ make a decision to change that.

When you make the decision to manage your ‘Money,’ it no longer has ‘Control’ over you.

I know it can feel scary, because chances are you have been operating this way in your money for along time now.

And chances are – You have more than likely been pretty hard on yourself along the way!

I can speak from experience, because this was my personal money story too – Not anymore!

Recently I have had the pleasure of working with some very cool awesome as women and this question has come up out of that meeting so I wanted to share with you how I myself overcome this in the past, in the desire that it may help you if you struggle with it to.

Question:

“How do you know who to trust when there are so many people out there pushing sales. How do you know which one is real and not only that, where do I start?”

My answer to that is always:

First you must find ‘Trust’ in yourself!

When self-doubt rears it’s head and it will, you just CHOOSE to ‘Trust’ and ‘Believe’ without a doubt you are on the correct path for whatever your learning is right now.

This is an important practice – Trust!

So let’s use Money as an example here, (which is no different from any relationship I might add).

When entering into any new relationship there is a learning or re-learning phase. I say this because, either you have ‘Never’ learned the skills for your desired outcome, or you have had ‘Plenty’ of practice and it has always ended in a way that you don’t want to repeat.

Some of us have Ph.d’s in this kind of practice – I know I have in the past.

So from the beginning you have the desire to learn something new, or something that you desire to change, an old pattern or habit that isn’t serving you anymore. (This is the Intention).

You have already started with being ‘willing’ and now you follow it up with determination and taking action.

Perhaps this can be by reading, asking questions of people that you do trust to get their take on things.

You might search the Web, attend seminars, listen to webinars, or choose a Coach who has been there too.

Yet ultimately when it comes to choosing who you follow, who you want to work with, you must initiate ‘Trust’ in yourself first and go with how YOU ‘Feel.’

So when it comes to learning the skills of how to manage your Money it is just like learning any new skill, accept with Money there is a twist.

What many people do not realize is, when it comes to ‘Money’ there is a Mind/Body/Money connection, and because of that, there is an UN-learning or a DIS-mantling of what stops you from having more now.

That is to say, not many of us actually had the privilege of learning about ‘Money’ from a healthy informed perspective, as we grew up.

We learned about ‘Money’ by absorbing the emotions present in our family environments whenever ‘Money’ was addressed of discussed, and now our own money stories are a reflection of those very same emotions that we felt.

If you are new to this concept you may need to go back and read this a few more times and allow the information to penetrate a little deeper so you can gain some clarity to my words.

From most accounts we all come from normal middle class families and the stories that were reflected to us in childhood around ‘Money’ from our parents or caregivers, were more often than not, based in lack.

So….Where do you start when you want to change that…

Short answer – Start ‘Inside’ yourself with Trust!

Set your Intention of what you want to cure, heal, or change. And look for your ‘Why.’ Why this is so important to you.

Be willing and determined to make the shifts – You will be challenged by old paradigms, (triggers) or fears. This is just a case of Murphy’s Law – When you want to change anything, you get a curve ball or two thrown up just as a way to test it seems – Do it anyway!

Take the steps of change.

Trust and allow yourself to be guided by your own deepest wisdom.

Acknowledge and recognize within your own heart that you have fear and self doubt, this is important, then speak to your own heart.

Tell your Heart you are ready to step more into ‘You’ everyday.

Now Trust that the right person, idea, event or circumstance for you, will show up at exactly the right time. But don’t sit idly by and wait. Be open, start looking and becoming aware of your thoughts, your feelings and keep reminding yourself of the above.

Look for someone who lives an authentic life in your Minds eye, based on the principles that you want to learn, attain, be apart of and share.Look for someone most importantly, that you feel resonates with you.Look for that special someone that you feel safe with. That will not criticize or judge you when you feel like you have made a mistake. You build your trust in Yourself and in this person as a result.

You look around for someone who walks their talk, who has gone there before you. You watch and listen, connect and feel. You ask the questions if you need to. Do the groundwork until you build up to ‘Like,’ ‘Know’ and ‘Trust’ what they have to offer you.

Tell yourself (your Heart) you know what you are doing, remind yourself ‘Why’ you are doing what you are doing, then make your decision based on how you ‘Feel’ not on how you ‘Fear.’

Where ‘Money’ is concerned there can be massive amounts of self criticism, shame, anger, sadness, frustration and judgement. but that’s okay. You recognize it and you go learn how to manage your money anyway.

Managing Money is not hard to learn. In fact it is easier than you can imagine. It is only Fear and self doubt that stops you, but on the other side of self-doubt is trust.

My Mentor Tony Pennells of Mindshift.money says, “To conquer Fear, take Massive action,”  I can vouch that his recommendations work.

Once you have found your Teacher/Mentor, Implement their steps and the structures, don’t try to adjust. Trust that they have done the hard yards for you and all you need to do is apply them as they have been given to you, feel into them, adopt them into your own life as your own and keep practicing, keep fine tuning, and Voila!

You can be managing your money like the 4%, financially fit and on your road to ”Financial Freedom all in the space of 30 days.

Not only will you have learned #valuable new skills, you will have learned to ‘Trust’ in your judgements, #priceless, healed an unhealthy relationship in your life and put a ‘Stop’ to money stress in you and your families life, ‘Forever.’ #thisequalsgold

I know what this feels like first hand – I’ve been there, I lived it and conquered it and it feels so empowering on the other side and what’s more you can feel this way too!

Let Fear guide you, when it is flowing freely it ‘IS’ you intuition.

Trust yourself to put a stop to what no longer serves this newer version of you. You are ‘NEVER’ too old, to dumb or stupid, not good enough, smart enough, blah blah, to learn.

So take initiative and make the choice to learn how to manage your money, so you get to feel the freedom of ‘Paying Yourself First!’
