balance

A Healthy Lifestyle is your Best Prevention

When Life feels out of Balance simply follow the Laws of Life and Health!

It’s all about Balance!

Whenever you are struggling, whether or not that is with a full blown addiction, self-sabotage behavior, emotional eating, poverty patterns, gambling, sex, exhaustion, or stinking thinking.

It doesn’t really matter whether you have done the rehab the whole 12 steps or nine yards, whatever or whenever you feel you have tried everything and yet, you still feel that emptiness, that endless fatigue, that struggle, the Endless ‘Battle’ to keep on top of it all, you get the picture.

Moving in that upwards direction towards that life that you desire to have and yet never seeming to accomplish it.

Don’t give up, it can be the tiniest little step, a little tweak here and there that can make a huge difference.

AND….

We all know… Life flows much easier if you have a little Balance.

A stable platform a solid foundation – yet what exactly does that entail.

Perhaps you have been suffering in silence and No-One really gets it, No-One truly understands.

I DO..

Because there have been a lot of times in my life when it has been so out of balance and I have struggled too.

I want to share with you a ‘Simple Path’ that works, so you will always have stability and a solid base to come back to.

I use these principles in my own life because quite frankly there were times when they became my ‘Lifeline’ guiding me back on track whenever things became a little crazy and Life was out of balance.

These six principles will provide you with a strong foundation to always bring you back to your solid base should you decide to use them.

Below is a brief overview of these Foundation Principles. I will extend on these with posts as I add to this site.

These six Foundation Principles start from the moment you wake in the morning and end when you go to bed at night.

They form a strong base for you to get the very best out of your Life. Your Body and your Mind.

So be sure to practice them as they become a Healthy Habit with benefits far beyond what you can anticipate.

Like I have mentioned before.

Don’t just take my word for it, put them to the test, adopt them into your life and try them for yourself.

They run in order from the beginning of your day yet they work and support each other at anytime through out your day. For eg.

Anytime that you sit down to eat be aware of your Thoughts and your Breathing.

If you become Anxious ask yourself ‘What have I eaten’

# 1. THOUGHTS

Every day when you wake up become AWARE of your thoughts.

Your thoughts wake you up. They determine how you Breath.

Are they positive or are they negative?

We are going to look at keeping them positive for 21 days.

# 2. BREATHING

Before getting out of bed, lie still and take 3 – 10 deep diaphramic breaths.

Breathing slowly in through your nose and out through your nose (or pursed lips)

A slow deep Inhale and a Long deep Exhale.

Your Tummy should be the first place to rise on the Inhale. (Like filling up a balloon)

# 3. HYDRATION

Get up and pour yourself a nice big glass of water with 1/2 of a small lemon squeezed into it.

This can be cold in the summer months and warm in the winter months.

Our bodies get very dehydrated through the night.

# 4. NUTRITION

While you are having your nice cup of lemon water you can prepare your quality breakfast.

Golden Rule

Always choose a balance of Protein Carbohydrates & Fat

You will need to spend at least 20 mins with your meal.

# 5. MOVEMENT

This is the time for a lot of us to be on our way to our workplace, so our movement naturally falls into place.

This role of movement however also plays a bigger role in our life and can determine the way our stress levels go up or down.

If you feel yourself stressed even stopping to take in 3-4 slow deep breaths in the best movement out.

# 6. SLEEP/REST

At the end of your day getting adequate sleep is one of the biggest components to healing the body and the mind.

Set your best intention every night to get into bed by 10pm and asleep by 10.30pm

Shut down all appliances that bring light into the room.

Have your room as dark as a Cave.

These are the Six Foundation Principles of Life & Health.

They will help you achieve the following:

* Increased Vitality and Energy Levels

* Decrease your Stress Levels

* Eliminate your Body Issue’s (Whatever they may be)

* Stabilize Mood swings
